The Council of Ministers at Tynwald is seeking applications to become members of the Culture Vannin Board

The Council of Ministers is seeking to appoint new members to a number of Statutory Boards and Bodies in 2017, including Culture Vannin.

Full information on how to apply, details of the responsibilities, as well as the knowledge and skills required, are available online together with an application form, on the Isle of Man Government website.

If you have experience within and enthusiasm for one or more fields of Manx culture such as arts, crafts, dance, ecology, folklore, history, language, literature and music, then this could be for you. Experience of publishing (print/online), education or community/cultural development work would be desirable, as would transferrable skills from the private sector in terms of strategy, marketing, business and fund-raising.

The closing date for receipt of applications is Friday, 9 December 2016 at 5.00pm.
