Following the death of Dr Brian Stowell RBV TH on 18 January 2019, many people might be interested to discover more about the great work he did during his lifetime for Manx culture and in particular the Manx language. The following are just a reflection of only some of the many things that his tireless work for the Isle of Man has resulted in:

• Loayrt rish Brian Stowell: A series of video interviews with Brian Stowell about his life and about the Manx language
• Dunveryssyn yn Tooder-Folley: The Vampire Murders, a story of intrigue and scandal in Ellan Vannin. Written and recorded versions of an original full-length novel created by Brian Stowell.
• Shenn Recortyssyn: Recordings of Brian Stowell speaking to Ned Maddrell in 1964.
• Bunneydys: A graded course in Manx created by Brian Stowell
• Oie ayns Baatey-eeastee: A story by Ned Beg Hom Ruy read by Brian Stowell
• Lessoonyn Ard: A series of audio recordings of Brian Stowell speaking about his own experience of learning Manx and other Manx speakers, suitable for advanced learners of Manx
• Arraneyn Beeal-arrish Vannin: An album of unaccompanied Manx ballads and songs performed by Brian Stowell.
• Mannin Veg Veen: Brian Stowell singing unaccompanied this traditional Manx song.
• Slane Lhiat Vabban: A Manx translation of Alan Gurthie's crime fiction novella, Bye Bye Baby, made by Brian Stowell.
• Tomato Cain and some other stories / Tomato Cain as paart dy skeealyn elley: A bilingual edition of Nigel Kneale's 1949 publication of short stories, with the Manx translation by Brian Stowell.
• Brian Stowell RBV: The page recording Brian Stowell's receiving the Reih Bleeaney Vanannan award in 2008.
