Manx Culture Course Continues
Mon, 06 Feb 2006
The second in a series of courses aimed at supporting the teaching of Manx culture in the schools was held in February. Culture Co-ordinators from seven Primary Schools attended the course which dealt with Manx Gaelic, Manx music and dance together with providing an insight to the history and broader culture of the Island. The course, which was led by the Foundation's Language Officer Adrian Cain, provides teachers with the skills and confidence to use the language with children whilst also providing them with ideas and resources for use in schools. The four-day course, which is funded by the Foundation, has been very well received and will be repeated in the summer term.School celebrated in new Manx film
