The stories of the Green Lady of Scarlett and the White Lady of Castle Rushen.

Brian Sopher recalls the story of the protective spirit often seen at a particular point at Scarlett from what he heard from his mother of experiences she had nearly 100 years ago.

The second story is Brian's own experience of being pushed to the wall by his sister as she saw the spirit well-known of Castle Rushen approaching one time inside the building.

Also spoken of here is the family story of the very tall great-grandfather, once well-known in Castletown not only for his remarkable height but also for halting a bolting horse.
