The Ramsey Shipyard has recently undergone some radical rebuilding. In 2004 it was involved in blasting and restoring parts of the Great Laxey Wheel, and intriguing marks were discovered under the old paint showing how restorers in a previous refurbishment could be sure that they could put all the parts back together again.
