Ciapelli’s restaurant was owned and run by Enzo Ciappelli between 1989 and 2011. It was first based in Nobles Park, where the establishment (pictured below) was renowned for offering fine cuisine and wine. Later on, the restaurant moved to Loch Promenade. The Ciappelli family are well-known restauranteers on the Isle of Man: Enzo Ciappelli is now the restaurant manager at the Mailbox in Douglas while his brother, Mario Ciappelli, owns Portofino in Douglas.
