On Friday 6th April 2006, an event took place in St. German’s Cathedral in Peel to mark the launch of ‘The Everlasting Hills’; a new book which features over 250 original hymns written and collected on the Isle of Man. Choirs from across the Island joined together to celebrate the publication. The hymns have been collected from private manuscripts, rare publications and other sources, which have not been available for many years. The collection was brought together and edited by Dr. Fenella Bazin.
