The speeches celebrating the outstanding contribution to Manx culture achieved by Adrian Corkill RBV.

These speeches were recorded on 28 February 2024 in the 'All At Sea' exhibition in the House of Manannan, Peel, at the ceremony to award the Reih Bleeaney Vanannan (RBV).

Featured in this recording are:

  • Jonathan Hall, Director of the Trustees of Manx National Heritage and member of the RBV panel, introducing the award and making the presentation.
  • Adrian Corkill RBV, giving a short acceptance speech touching on some of the individuals and institutions who have helped him in his interests and work.
  • Ruth Keggin Gell, Manx Language Development Officer at Culture Vannin, giving a short speech about Adrian's three decades’ and more of important work on the maritime history of the Isle of Man.
