Folk, folklore & the Isle of Man: An interview with Zoe Gilbert
Mon, 01 Oct 2018
While she was visiting the Isle of Man for the Manx LitFest, we recorded a short video interview with the award-winning author, Zoe Gilbert, whose first novel, Folk, is infused with the Isle of Man's landscape and folklore.
The interview touches on her novel, 'Folk', its relation to place, her views on the depth of folktales, and the importance of the Isle of Man in her writing.
This interview was made during Manx LitFest 2018, at which Zoe Gilbert was speaking and which Culture Vannin is a proud supporter.
