March 2018 sees the publication of the third poetry book by the Indian-born Manx poet, Usha Kishore.
As one of the leading poets working in the Isle of Man today, we spoke to Usha Kishore about her poetry, its themes and concerns, and this latest book, 'Immigrant,' which investigates the political, cultural and linguistic spaces inhabited by first-generation immigrants to Britain. It is a postcolonial work experimenting in language and structure, highlighting a quest for identity and home.
