St. Jude's church in Andreas was scheduled for demolition in March 2002, without the parishioners being aware. A protest was organised, on 23 March 2002, to show public support for the preservation of the church in the face of the Bishop of Sodor's decision.

This film was captured at this protest, with interviews with Alan Chapman, Friends of St. Jude's, and Norman Radcliffe MLC.

The church remains standing today.
