A short introduction to the exciting new volunteer-led project investigating Manx Keeills, the earliest Christian sites on the Isle of Man.
This project will create the first new archaeological survey of the complete set of Manx keeills in over 100 years, using modern technology which will offer new insights into the layout, use and wider physical and social context of the keeills.
This film was made at the Corrody Keeill in Sulby, in July 2017. The results of the survey are available from the Bath & Camerton Archaeological Society here.
The setting up of the Keeills Research Project was supported through a grant received from Culture Vannin.
