In September 2014, the world famous horse drawn trams on Douglas Promenade in the Isle of Man ran on their original tracks for the last time. Road improvement schemes mean they won't run in 2015, and when they start again in 2016, 140 years after they first ran, the double track will have disappeared and will have been replaced by a single track at the side of the road.
This short film looks at the history of this unique tramway.
