Village shops were once the heart of communities across the Isle of Man, but they are sadly dying out as the years go by.
Recognising that lifestyle and shopping trends are against them, we realise that they might all be gone (in the form in which we know them) in a number of years time. So, taking the chance before it's too late, we went to capture one such local shop and the life and community which runs through it each day; Caley's Store in Sulby.
We have Graham and all of the customers of the store to thank for allowing us to film one Friday in November 2017.
Our thanks are also owed to the Isle of Man Post Office who were very kind in agreeing to the project.
A short written account of the store's early history is also available here.
