The Peel Bay Festival was organised by Jonathan Irving of the Isle of Man Viking Festival (July 2006). Though Irving organised Tribute concerts in 2006, the first full-scale Peel-Bay festival took place in 2007. It featured acts including Ronan Keating, Madness, The Who and McFly. The festival site was on the Coast road to Ramsey, opposite Mourn view.
