Manx language featured in Radio 4 programme
Fri, 26 Feb 2016
Manx Language Development Officer for Culture Vannin, Adrian Cain, hosted the visit of BBC Radio 4 journalist Andrew Bomford recently.
Andrew visited the Bunscoill Ghaelgagh, a special Kiaull as Gaelg session at the Albert in Port St Mary, and spoke to Manx language expert Dr Brian Stowell, and many Manx language learners and speakers.
Y Ghaelg - the Manx language - is an important way of showing our uniqueness internationally. Its revival is a great success story around the world, showing that our culture is very much alive and kicking.
The feature was on the Broadcasting House programme on Sunday 28 February (9-10am).
