Becky moved to the Isle of Man in 2001, falling in love with the Island after spending her childhood holidays visiting family.
She has worked in a variety of roles in both the private and third sectors, bringing with her a wealth of experience in project management and the facilitating of events. Holding a Diploma in Marketing from the CIM, Becky worked as the Development Manager for a large local charity; completing a key capital funding project alongside overseeing the fundraising team in delivering revenue for the day to day running of the organisations charitable projects.
Becky joined the team to take on this newly created role in July 2021. As Culture Vannin’s Operations Officer Becky is responsible for the day to day smooth running of the organisation, public exhibition space and building. She monitors compliance with relevant legislation and develops and reinforces internal processes and procedures. Working with the Director and Finance Officer she administrates the charity’s grant giving scheme, and supports all the officers to ensure record management and archiving will be inline with GDPR and PRO requirements.
