Manx Year talk
Mon, 24 Jul 2023
We are pleased to be offering a presentation of some of our films about Manx calendar customs as a part of Maughold Week this year.
James Franklin will offer a talk accompanying a collection of short films, guiding us through some of the Isle of Man’s wonderful and distinctive calendar customs.
Come along to find out which saint will save us from mud, when to bang cabbages on your neighbours’ doors, and when being hit with inflated pigs’ bladders is to be expected…!
