HOP TU NAA free online activity pack

Hop tu naa is a very old tradition in the Isle of Man, celebrated each year on the 31st October with songs, rhymes, dancing, turnip lanterns, curious customs and stories about the local character Jinny the Witch. Hop tu naa is the real Hallowe’en!

Culture Vannin have produced a free online activity and information pack containing traditional customs, Manx Gaelic phrases, ideas for turnip carving, songs and rhymes, dance instructions, the story of the real Jinny the Witch, music files to download, colouring-in and wordsearches, recipes and fun ideas for your own Hop tu naa party!!
